Honest. Analytical. Determined. These three words best describe Alex and the way he approaches financial planning.
Alex is driven to serve others. Before becoming a firefighter, he was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
In 2007, he was presented with an opportunity to join a financial firm, satisfying his love for numbers and his desire to help people in a tangible way. His career carries personal significance as well; growing up in a hard working family, his parents were fearful of investing. If someone had taken time to educate them and walk through the process of creating a plan for the future, things may have turned out differently for his family. Now as the founder of his own independent firm, Alex spends each day utilizing all the resources and knowledge at his disposal to design customized strategies to help clients achieve specific financial goals.
Because of his background, Alex says this: “I have made it my mission to help clients reach their financial goals, and help families maintain a legacy that provides for them for generations to come.”
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Alex is of Colombian descent. He is also fluent in Spanish. He spent most of his childhood years in Colombia, and currently resides in Vancouver, WA with a secondary residence in Arizona to adequately serve clients in both locations. He studied business at Campbell University Buies Creek, North Carolina.
As a father of boys, sports are a central part of the Castro home. Alex plays soccer with his sons and together they watch football and hockey. He also maintains his marksmanship by training and practicing at the shooting range. The Castro family also enjoys giving back. They volunteer with organizations that serve the needs of children and veterans.
